Who Are We?

We are an Apostolic Missions Base fueled by Night and Day Prayer that exists to minister to Lord.

What is the purpose of the Orlando House of Prayer?

Out of the place of prayer we are called to train, equip, and release believers and ministry leaders in the forerunner anointing. We also desire to help bring unity to our city and state through prayer and intercession.

“As they ministered to the Lord and fasted the Holy Spirit said “Now separate to me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them they send them away.”
Acts 13:2-3

What is the purpose of the Orlando House of Prayer?

No, definitely not! Throughout history, the house of prayer has been a central part of God’s plan to advance His kingdom. Human history began with daily prayer meetings in the Garden of Eden (Gen. 3:8). Israel began as a nation in a prayer meeting at Mt. Sinai (Ex. 19:6-20). Israel’s first building project, Moses’ tabernacle, was a worship sanctuary or the first house of prayer (Ex. 25:2).

Around 1000 BC, King David established a tabernacle in Jerusalem and set a precedent of night and day worship before the Lord that continued at various times throughout Israel and Judah’s history. Each time this order of worship was reintroduced, spiritual breakthrough, deliverance and military victory followed. King David’s first acts as king over Jerusalem was to establish return the ark and then establish night and day worship called the Tabernacle of David in which he financed 4,000 musicians and 288 singers (1 Chr. 15-16; 23:5; 25:7).

The early church began in a prayer meeting and grew in context to a culture of prayer (Acts 1). Natural history will end in context of a global prayer movement. Groups in Ireland, Germany, South Korea, and elsewhere across the globe have also established day and night centers of prayer and worship. Following in this tradition, the Orlando House of Prayer has started our own night and day prayer in 2007 and we continue to build toward our goal of 24/7 live worship and prayer.

We stand at a critical juncture in our nation’s history. We know another historic “Great Awakening” is soon to sweep across our nation. The Spirit is visiting His people with power and fresh prophetic direction. At the same time, the powers of darkness are raging against the moral fabric of our nation. The light is growing brighter as the darkness becomes darker.
